About

Sakib Khan is a graduate research student in Human Resource Management at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Although he is not the biggest fan when it comes to preparing for dreadful assignments and exams, he is back to study because his dislike for working in the HR department is far greater. Ok, bad joke.

But whatever his reason for study, one thing is for certain and that is he likes to think. He thinks about HR (yeah, he is that awesome!) and every now and then comes up with thoughts that he likes to share with others. With that in mind, he published this blog where he can write and share his random thoughts and make sure they don’t get lost (like they always do!).

Sakib mostly writes about issues concerning people management, work and workplace and everything in between, with occasionally a bit of personal and professional experiences thrown in. Most of his writings are about practical day-to-day issues, some strategic, some fundamental, while some talk about current and future trends.

He hopes this blog will be interesting and useful to people, especially who are working in HR or in a related field, those looking to step into HR or even to someone who just wants to know what the fuss is all about. He welcomes you all.

Please feel free to comment, suggest, criticize, agree, disagree. Without your feedback he doesn’t know where he stands!
